Their 10 Northern Area One Stops offer a goldmine of quality career and placement resources for:

Job Seekers

Area job seekers will gain access to current job openings and benefit from such services as resume writing clinics, career readiness workshops, vocational training, on-the-job and classroom training, and access to Internet, phone, fax, and computers for resume building and job searches.

Employers

Local employers will benefit from access to pre-screened applicants for open positions, classroom and on-the-job training for existing or future employees, as well as customized workshops and trainings and ongoing mentoring and support for their staff.

Disabled Workers

The New Mexico Workforce Connection Navigators can help evaluate the accessibility of the workplace and pre-qualify applicants for employment. Participants can get job ready with career planning and training while matching their skills and interests with available positions.

Youth

Northern Area youth can receive assistance with preparing for post-secondary education or meaningful employment, obtaining career interest and skills assessments, initiating job searches, applying for summer internship programs, and getting help with completing their high school education or GED.
